Satu Apukka has a diverse work experience spanning across various companies and roles. Satu currently serves as the CXO (Chief Experience Officer) at Kide Science, where they focus on improving positive customer experience and overseeing the customer journey. Prior to this, Satu worked as the Growth Director at Kide Science, where they aligned their work with new business, customer success, and marketing. Satu developed BtoB sales processes and established license and sales partnership agreements.
Before their time at Kide Science, Satu worked as a Commercial Model at Azzurro Models Oy, specializing in videos and pictures for advertising purposes. Satu was also a Senior Mentor at the University of Helsinki, mentoring researchers, innovators, and entrepreneurs as part of the Nexus - Deep Tech, AI & Sustainability Incubator program.
Satu has experience in sales and marketing as well. Satu served as the Sales and Marketing Director at Babler Oy, where they were responsible for influencer marketing, sales processes, customer relationships, and marketing projects. Prior to that, they held the role of Sales Director at Grapevine Media Oy.
In addition, Satu has been involved in industry organizations such as IAB Finland, where they were the Chairman of the YouTuber Group and a member of the Social Media Group. Satu has also worked as the Head of Sales, Finland at United Screens, where they managed sales operations and had a deep understanding of YouTube and young audiences.
Satu has previous experience in finance and service roles at OP Financial Group, specifically as a BtoB Finance Assistant at OP Yrityspankki Oyj and a BtoC Financial and Service Advisor at Helsingin OP Pankki Oyj. Satu started their career as a Purchasing Assistant and Salesperson at Stockmann.

Satu Apukka completed their Matriculation Examination from Helsinki UYK Upper Secondary School from 2001 to 2004. Satu then pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Business Sales and Marketing from Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences, which they completed from 2012 to 2015. In 2014, they also took a course in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia from Aalto University Executive Education.
Satu furthered their education by enrolling in the Degree Programme in Business Development and Leadership at Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences, where they are currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree. Satu started the program in 2021 and is expected to complete it in 2023.
In addition to their academic pursuits, Satu Apukka has obtained several certifications. Satu received the SDN Accredited Service Design certification from Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences in January 2023.
