Daksh Badri

Daksh Badri is the Founder and Director of Operations at A Helping Horn, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting music education in Montgomery County Public Schools. Daksh also serves as the President of the Wootton Branch of Kids Are Scientists Too, President of the National Science Bowl for the 2024-25 season, and President of the French Honors Society for the same period. Additionally, Daksh is involved in music performance as a Principal Trombone and Euphonium Player with the Potomac Valley Youth Orchestra, the Washington Brass Institute, and various All-State and All-County ensembles. In the role of Social Media Manager at Like A Girl Global, Inc., Daksh promotes the recognition of women of color in education. Currently a student at Thomas Sprigg Wootton High School, Daksh combines leadership, musical talent, and community service in various capacities.
