Kids in Need of Defense
Alejandra Paz is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in storytelling and community engagement, currently serving as the Director of Storytelling at Kids in Need of Defense (KIND) since June 2015. In this role, Alejandra collaborates on projects that amplify the voices of unaccompanied immigrant and refugee children, including managing The Voices That Matter Most initiative in educational settings. Prior to KIND, Alejandra worked as a freelance translator and writer, as well as an Account Executive at ReviveHealth, focusing on social media campaigns and communication strategies. Additional experience includes positions in marketing and public relations at ComforTrac, Gordon | Diaz-Balart, The Paley Center for Media, and Harlem Fusion Enterprises. Alejandra holds a Master's degree in Public Relations from the University of the Arts London and a Bachelor's degree in Global Communications from The American University of Paris.
