Maurice Smith, CPB, brings over 30 years of corporate accounting experience, currently serving as Assistant Controller at Kids Preferred since March 2014. Previous roles include Director of Accounting and Managing Partner at The Bookkeeping Company, Inc., and various positions at organizations such as Prudential Financial and Mestel & Company, Inc. Maurice has a strong educational background with degrees from Queens College and New York University, and has contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor at City University of New York. Notably, Maurice is a Vietnam Naval Veteran, a QuickBooks ProAdvisor, and the Co-Founder/Director of Education of Mad Holdings, Inc., actively involved in providing bookkeeping education to underserved populations.
