Menusch Khadjavi is an Associate Professor at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a Research Fellow at the Tinbergen Institute and the Kiel Institute for the World Economy, where responsibilities include research leadership and engagement in economic studies since 2014. Previously, Menusch Khadjavi served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Kiel and held research positions at prestigious institutions including Columbia University and the University of California system. Academically, Menusch Khadjavi earned a Doctorate in Economics from the University of Hamburg and a Master's in Spatial, Transport & Environmental Economics from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, complemented by a Bachelor's in Philosophy & Economics from the University of Bayreuth.
