Milena Baumert

Milena Baumert is a research assistant at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy, actively involved in the Poverty Reduction, Equity and Growth Network (PEGNet), where responsibilities include conceptual planning and organization of annual conferences, workshop implementation, and content management. Previous experience includes co-founding PraktischPlastik, focusing on sustainability consulting for hospitals, and various volunteer roles in community-based conservation and medical services. Milena Baumert holds multiple degrees including a Master of Science in Sustainability, Society and the Environment, and Environmental Management from Kiel University, and has participated in Erasmus programs in Italy and Romania.
