Shahid Anwar

Shahid Anwar has extensive experience in the field of environment health and safety. Shahid started their career as a Safety Officer at ETA Engineering Private Limited in 2012 and worked there until 2013. Shahid then joined Kier Group in 2014 as a Senior Occupational Health and Safety Officer, where they ensured compliance with HSE policies and regulations. In 2017, they joined Bukhatir Group as a Health Safety Environment Engineer, where they prepared necessary safety reports and coordinated safety programs with subcontractors. In 2019, they returned to Kier Group as a Senior Environment Health Safety Engineer (Project Lead), where they conducted risk assessments, enforced preventative measures, and updated policies according to legislation.

Shahid Anwar holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Occupational Safety and Health Technology/Technician, which they obtained from Shine University in the years 2013 to 2017. Shahid also has a Diploma of Education in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from IASE Deemed University, completed from 2009 to 2012. In 2020, they received an International Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety from the European Safety Council. Additionally, they obtained a Managing Safely Certification in Safety, Health & Environment from IOSH in 2019. Shahid Anwar has further certifications in ISO [45001:2018 | 14001:2015 | 9001:2015] Internal Auditor Training Course from Elite Interglobal Training in 2022, a Health & Safety Engineering Diploma - International from the European Safety Council, and a NEBOSH International Certification from NEBOSH.
