Mike Baxter

Mike Baxter has a diverse range of work experience in the technology industry. Mike is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Kijiji Canada since March 2020. Prior to that, they co-founded HomeX in 2018 and served as the Chief Technology Officer and Chief Architect. Before HomeX, Mike was the Senior Vice President of Technology at Guestlogix from May 2017 to January 2018. Mike also held the position of Vice President of Online Canada at CheapOair from April 2015 to May 2017. Mike's previous roles include being the Chief Technology Officer at Tripspot.net from July 2012 to March 2015, a Consultant at Sunwing Travel Group from 2011 to 2012, and the Vice President of Technology at itravel2000 from February 2002 to August 2011. Mike also worked as a Sr. Product Development Manager at Carlson Marketing Canada and as a Technology Consultant at New World Travel. Mike began their career as a Systems Analyst/Application Developer at Royal and SunAlliance Insurance Agency, Inc. Overall, Mike has a strong background in technology leadership and product development within the travel industry.

Mike Baxter attended Ryerson University from 1995 to 1999 where they earned a BAA degree in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management. Prior to this, from 1993 to 1995, they studied Health and Physical Education/Fitness at the University of Toronto.
