Director Of Facilities And Operations at Kimball Union Academy

Douglas Plummer has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Douglas started their career in 1981 as the Head Groundskeeper at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. After four years, they transitioned to Kimball Union Academy and worked as the Grounds Manager for almost two decades. In this role, they managed the maintenance of the school's grounds, including athletic fields, hockey rink, swimming pool, cross country trails, and vehicles. Douglas also handled event set-up and break down. In 2002, Douglas became the Assistant Director of Facilities and Operations at the academy, and later assumed the position of Director of Facilities and Operations in 2005. In addition to their time at Kimball Union Academy, Douglas also worked at the NH Department of Forests and Lands, serving as both the NH Deputy Forest Fire Warden and NH Special Deputy Forest Fire Warden.

Douglas Plummer attended Paul Smith's College from 1977 to 1979, where they obtained an AAS in Forestry Technology.
