Tim Giegel

Tim Giegel is an experienced technology professional with a strong background in web development and engineering. Currently serving as Principal Engineer at Kin Insurance since November 2021, Giegel has previously held notable positions at BNY Mellon Wealth Management, where responsibilities included leading a team on JavaScript architecture and engineering, and architecting a Micro Front-End platform. With experience as Manager of Web Development at DICK'S Sporting Goods, Giegel oversaw front-end engineering for several eCommerce sites. Additional roles encompassed positions at Celerity as a Sr. UI Developer, freelance web design and development at Textured Pixel, and various positions in eCommerce and forensic technology. Giegel holds a BBA in Management Information Systems & Finance from Ohio University and has additional education in Human-Computer Interaction from DePaul University.
