Gagan Ichake

Gagan Ichake is currently working at Kin + Carta as a Principal Engineer in the Cloud Engineering Practice, where they partner with Fortune 500 clients to build enterprise-grade cloud-native applications. They demonstrate a strong understanding of modern development frameworks and utilize the latest cloud technologies to create highly scalable distributed web platforms. Prior to this, they worked as a Technical Senior Consultant at Kin + Carta.

Before joining Kin + Carta, Gagan worked at Caterpillar Inc. as a Senior Software Developer Team Lead. In this role, they were responsible for application modernization and migration to the OpenShift container platform. They also refactored applications and implemented CI/CD pipelines to improve continuous improvement processes. Additionally, they integrated new services with other distributed systems and ensured system integrity through performance maintenance.

Gagan also gained experience at YASH Technologies, where they held various roles such as Technical Lead, Module Lead, Senior Software Engineer, and Software Engineer. They played key roles in developing and leading technical projects during their time at YASH Technologies.

Furthermore, Gagan worked as a Senior Software Developer at Monsanto Company, where they developed microservice-based systems and installed them on the AWS Cloud. They were also involved in designing the front end and providing post-production support. They received recognition as the Best Mentor and Team Lead.

In addition, Gagan worked as a Software Developer at John Deere, focusing on programming back-end systems and user browser interfaces. They were responsible for developing enterprise systems and creating a Rule Engine SOAP API for Part Retail Inventory System Management.

Lastly, Gagan began their career as a Project Assistant Level II at CSIR- Unit for Research and Development of Information Products (URDIP). During this time, they developed web applications and software tools, solving recurring problems and automating workflows to improve productivity. They were recognized for their innovative approach and simple yet effective techniques.

Gagan Ichake received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya in 2005. In 2008, they completed their Master of Computer Application degree in Computer Science from Rajiv Gandhi Prodyogiki Vishwavidyalaya.
