Kitson Broadhurst

Kitson Broadhurst has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Kitson is currently working at Kin + Carta as the Tech Lead (Web), responsible for developing micro-apps and MFE's using NextJS, React, and TypeScript. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Web Engineer for Tesco, where they played a key role in breaking down a monolithic web application. Kitson also co-founded useBert, a company that focuses on enabling the mass use of AI for content writing. Earlier in their career, Kitson worked as a Frontend Developer for YOOX NET-A-PORTER GROUP and Bright Analytics, gaining experience in React, TypeScript, and testing frameworks. Kitson has also held positions as the Director of Product and Operations at Hinterview and as a Senior Tech Recruiter at Energon People. Additionally, Kitson co-founded RepMate, a fitness analytics startup, and started their career as a Process Optimization Engineer at 3M. Kitson holds a position as an Undergraduate Researcher/Design Engineer at Lancaster University.

Kitson Broadhurst attended General Assembly in 2018, where they studied Product Management. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2013, Kitson completed their MEng degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lancaster University. Additionally, in 2022, Kitson obtained a certification as a Graph Developer - Associate from Apollo GraphQL.
