Kobus de Villiers

Kobus de Villiers has a strong background in software development and testing. Kobus is currently working as a QA Principal at Kin + Carta since 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Software Development Engineer in Test at Acadian Asset Management from 2018 to 2020, where they were responsible for implementing automated testing environments and mentoring junior team members. From 2015 to 2018, they worked as a Consultant at Syrinx Consulting, helping companies implement agile testing practices and automation frameworks. Before that, from 2010 to 2015, they served as a Software Development Engineer in Test at Grosvenor Capital Management, managing a team and developing test automation frameworks. Kobus has also worked as a Consultant at Forbes Technical Consulting and as an Analyst at Risetime. Kobus holds strong development skills and has experience in object-oriented design and development.

Kobus de Villiers obtained their B Eng degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stellenbosch University between 1990 and 1994.
