Nicola Gilmore

Nicola Gilmore has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Nicola currently holds the position of Lead Project Manager at Kin + Carta Europe, where they began as a Project Manager before being promoted to Senior Project Manager. Prior to that, Nicola was the Head of Projects at Yoma, an ecommerce platform provider.

Nicola also worked as a Project Manager at Ultimedia, where they managed large integration and CMS/Commerce projects. Nicola utilized Agile methodology and tracked developer workload using Jira.

Nicola has also held multiple contract roles at Chill Factore, including Digital Project Manager, Marketing Communication Manager, Digital Marketing Manager, and Technical Project Manager/CRM Product Owner. In these roles, Nicola focused on improving the user experience of the website, managing digital marketing activities, and implementing CRM upgrades and new internal systems.

Before transitioning into project management roles, Nicola owned their own business called Nicola Gilmore Web, where they offered web design and front-end development services. Nicola also worked as a part-time lecturer at the University of Salford, teaching graphic design courses.

Earlier in their career, Nicola worked at Kukri Sports as a Project Manager, Web Manager, and Senior Web Designer/Developer, overseeing website and system development and collaborating with various teams within the company. Nicola also gained experience as a Junior Web Designer/Front-End Developer at Vanilla Storm and worked as a Freelance Web Designer/Developer at Creative Awareness.

Nicola Gilmore completed their HND in Interactive Media from The Manchester College in 2008. Nicola then pursued a degree in Design Futures at The University of Salford from 2008 to 2009, focusing on Design and Visual Communications.
