Ashwin Gopinath

Ashwin Gopinath has worked as a Software Engineer at Kinara, Inc. since 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Software Development Engineer at LimeChat from 2022 to 2023, where they optimized code and improved query performance. Ashwin was also an Undergraduate Researcher at the Centre for Visual Information Technology from 2021 to 2022, where they assisted in improving crowd counting methods. Ashwin has had internships at Eigenlytics Data Solutions, serving as a Research and Development intern in 2022 and a Machine Learning intern in 2021. During their internships, they created a deep learning-based image classification model and implemented a CTC decoding algorithm for the OCR pipeline. Ashwin was also a Cultural Secretary at the International Institute of Information Technology from 2020 to 2021 and worked on a Bachelor's Project at Digitalee Augmentum and as a Logistics and Events and Operations team member at Felicity, IIIT Hyderabad, from 2019 to 2020.

Ashwin Gopinath attended Chavara Public School in Pala Kottyam from 2016 to 2018. Ashwin then moved on to earn their Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad (IIITH) from 2018 to 2022.
