Claire Mahoney

Claire Mahoney has a diverse range of work experience spanning various roles and industries. Claire started their career at Change Factory as a Technical Writer and Change Management Consultant, where they created policy and procedure documents for clients. Claire then worked at John Holland as a Technical Writer, focusing on business transformation. At Open Universities Australia, they served as a Technical Writer, implementing JIRA Service Desk and building a self-service knowledge base.

Claire then joined Atlassian as a Senior Content Designer, embedded in development teams and creating UI and support experiences for JIRA products. Claire also coordinated research and testing for the mobile team and spoke at conferences about writing. After that, they worked at Seequent as a Content Curator and Editor, telling the company's business and technology stories and leading content initiatives.

Claire later joined Synlait Milk Limited as a Training and Support Writer, where they developed training material for an enterprise system implementation. Claire then joined La Trobe University as a Change and Communications Advisor, specializing in digital transformation.

Claire also had experience at UX Australia, where they were part of a small team managing content for the UX community. Additionally, they ran their own business, Lacuna Information Design, which provided content design and strategy services. Currently, Claire is a Senior UX Content Writer at Kinde, where they are responsible for building amazing products for founders and startups and writing documentation.

Claire Mahoney's education history includes completing a Bachelor of Arts (with First Class Honours) degree in English/Cultural Studies at the University of Tasmania from 1997 to 2000. Claire later pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Editing and Communications at the University of Melbourne from 2004 to 2006.
