Cynthia Alderman

Cynthia Alderman has worked in several roles in the finance and education industries. In 2022, they began working as the Manager of Ethics Content, Senior Editor, and Senior Instructional Designer at CeriFi. From 2008 to 2022, they worked as a Senior Technical Editor at Thomson Reuters, where they managed the launch of a new delivery platform for online learning related to continuing education for CPAs and reworked all ethics courses to meet CPAs' ethics requirements in more than 50 jurisdictions. From 2000 to 2008, they worked as the Supervisor of Financial Reporting at AmeriCredit Corp. Prior to that, from 1994 to 2000, they worked as an Accounting Controller and Office Manager at two now defunct small public companies.

Cynthia Alderman has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting from The University of Texas at Arlington, which they earned between 1980 and 1982. Prior to that, they attended Hardin-Simmons University between 1978 and 1979, studying Accounting. In addition to their degree, they have obtained certifications from LinkedIn, including "Excel Quick Tips" (September 2021), "Creativity at Work: A Short Course from Seth Godin" (July 2021), and is a Certified Public Accountant.
