Vivian Wong

Vivian Wong has a diverse work experience that spans different industries and roles. Vivian started their career in 2010 as a Teacher in the Nursery room at Kindercare Learning Centres New Zealand. Vivian quickly progressed to become the Head Teacher of the Nursery room, leading a team of 4-5 teachers. However, their role was disrupted due to the earthquake disaster, and they resumed their position when the new location opened.

In 2012, Vivian worked as an Early Years Teacher at the International School of Koje, gaining valuable experience in education. Vivian then joined Madan Law PLLC in 2015 as an Office Manager, where they were responsible for managing day-to-day functions and providing support to the Managing Attorney.

Vivian's passion for fitness led their to work as an Indoor Cycling Instructor at CycleBar in 2018. Vivian organized and taught indoor cycling classes, ensuring a positive experience for participants. Vivian also worked as both a Group Fitness Instructor and Receptionist at the University of Canterbury, showcasing their versatility in different roles within the fitness industry.

In 2021, Vivian returned to Kindercare Learning Centres New Zealand as the Team Leader, leading a team of 5 in the Kiwi Room. Vivian successfully set up a roster system to create a cohesive team teaching environment for under 2-year-olds.

Most recently, Vivian stepped back to a part-time role as a Teacher/Kaiako at Kindercare Learning Centres New Zealand in order to find a balance between being a parent and a teacher. Vivian is currently on maternity leave since September 2022.

Vivian Wong's education history consists of receiving a Diploma of Teaching in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from the New Zealand College of Early Childhood Education. Vivian completed this program from 2006 to 2008. Subsequently, they pursued a Bachelor of Teaching and Learning in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from the University of Canterbury during the period of 2008 to 2009.
