Lav Gupta

Lav Gupta has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Lav is currently working at Kindertales as the Head of Engineering. Prior to that, they worked at Air Canada as the Development Manager, Digital Enablement, where they led the Digital Development team and built a Centre of Excellence to promote best coding practices and Agile methodology. Their portfolio at Air Canada included various applications such as Aeroplan, MyAccess, Cargo/RIVO, AI, and internal applications.

Before joining Air Canada, Lav Gupta worked at Kindertales as the Lead Solutions Architect and Sr. Software Engineer. Lav led a team of developers, focused on coding and debugging, and re-engineered billing software systems. During their time at Kindertales, they gained expertise in PHP, Python, Laravel, MySQL, Redis, AWS, Git, Jenkins, Codeception, Javascript, VueJS, Elasticsearch, NodeJS, Bootstrap, Stripe, AWS Lambda, and JWT.

Prior to that, Lav Gupta worked at Parka Group Inc. as a Software Engineer, where they created and managed microservices using Symphony and Silex. Lav also worked at Imperus Technologies Corporation as a Software Developer and Globalstar as a Web Programmer, where they developed and maintained various web properties and portals.

Lav Gupta's early work experience includes roles as a Web Programmer at Aryana Solutions and a Web Developer at the University of Windsor, where they developed websites and gained proficiency in Java, JSP/Servlets, JQuery, MySQL, XHTML/CSS, and Apache Tomcat.

Lav Gupta obtained a Diploma in Computer Engineering from Ansal Institute Of Technology between 2007 and 2009. Subsequently, from 2009 to 2012, they pursued a BCS [Honors] degree in Computer Science-Applied Computing from the University of Windsor.
