Desleigh White has extensive experience in the field of Human Resources and People Management. Desleigh is currently working as the Head of People and Culture at Therapy Connect, a multidisciplinary healthcare company in Australia. In this role, Desleigh is responsible for overseeing the general People and Culture functions and ensuring compliance with local legislation. Prior to this, they worked as a Managing Consultant at People Matter Mediation and HR Solutions, where they provided HR solutions and workplace mediation services to small organizations on a contractual basis.

Desleigh also has experience in the energy sector, having served as the Country Human Resources Manager at Hitachi Energy. In this role, they were responsible for managing the HR function in Australia and driving equity, inclusion, and diversity initiatives. Desleigh was also a member of the Country Leadership Team and business unit leadership teams.

Before joining Hitachi Energy, Desleigh worked as the General Manager of People and Learning at Relationships Australia NSW, where they focused on employee engagement, organizational development, and continuous improvement in HR practices. Desleigh also supported a tech start-up social enterprise called myradiant.

Desleigh has also held HR roles at WPP AUNZ, RSPCA NSW, RSPCA QLD, SunRice, Luxottica Retail, and Eli Lilly Australia. In these roles, they gained experience in various HR functions such as organizational development, safety, workers compensation, and recruitment.

Desleigh's experience spans across different industries and organizations of varying sizes. Desleigh has a track record of implementing effective people practices, driving culture change, and managing complex HR projects.

Desleigh White's education history starts in 2005 when they attended Deakin University and completed a Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management and Services in 2007. Desleigh then pursued a Master's degree in the same field at Deakin University from 2011 to 2013. Desleigh continued their education and obtained a Certified Practitioner Human Resources certification from the Australian HR Institute in 2017.

Desleigh also completed several additional certifications. Desleigh completed a Mental Health First Aid certification from ParaQuad NSW in August 2012.

Furthermore, Desleigh is currently pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Organisational Coaching and Leadership at Charles Sturt University, starting in 2022.
