Ann Grillo

Ann Grillo has over 20 years of experience advising and counseling health care providers in a variety of areas including HIPAA compliance, employment, risk management, claims, medical malpractice, physician contracting and other transactional matters. A graduate of University of Maryland School of Law, Ann was a partner at a premier Maryland law firm where she worked with a range of health care providers including HMOs, senior living facilities, hospitals and physician groups.

Ann has represented clients in mediation, arbitration, and before professional licensing boards, trial and appellate courts. She has lectured to numerous professional groups – physicians, nurses, social workers and hospital administrators on a wide variety of topics including compliance, medical records documentation, and managing risk.

In addition to her legal, compliance and transaction experience, Ann brings to Kinergy both insight and passion for discovering and implementing innovative ways to improve patient care and communication.
