Zahir Herz

Zahir Herz has worked as a software engineer since 2005. In 2005, they worked as a Flash Developer at Designory, where they worked on flash sites for nissanusa.com and infiniti.com. From 2008 to 2013, they worked as a Senior Web Developer at Fox Digital Media. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as an Android Developer at Diamond Web Services, where they helped develop an Android application for FX Network. From 2015 to 2018, they worked as an Android Developer at Diamond, where they conceptualized, designed and implemented features for a geo-location based Android app. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as an Android Developer at AT&T, where they conceptualized, designed and implemented features for Android and FireTV seen on Directv now and WatchTV apps. Currently, they are working as a Senior Software Engineer at Kinetic Brands, where they develop, designs and maintains eCommerce stores and sites on the front and back end on Shopify Plus sites. Zahir also translates technical requirements and mockups into fully functioning sites using REACT/GraphQL/HTML/CSS/JS, and develops and improves online experiences across company brands and initiatives using mobile first approach. Zahir also facilitates technical discussions with near and offshore teams.

Zahir Herz obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Recording Arts from the University of Southern California, with a minor in Jazz Studies.
