Dr. Shadi Alghaffari

Dr. Shadi Alghaffari has been serving as the Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research at King AbdulAziz University since May 2011, while also holding positions as an Assistant Professor, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Head of the E-learning Unit at the Faculty of Maritime Studies, and Deputy Director of the International Maritime Training Center. In addition to lecturing on subjects such as Port Management and Logistics Management, Dr. Alghaffari has extensive experience in various roles, including Consultant and ISO Delegate Committee for the International Organization for Standardization. With a strong educational background that includes a PhD in Seaport Management from the University of Tasmania and an MBA in Organizational Leadership from Johnson & Wales University, Dr. Alghaffari has developed a deep expertise in maritime studies and logistics management, contributing to the academic and practical aspects of these fields.
