Kelly Kinnison currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the King County Regional Homelessness Authority, overseeing the unification and coordination of homelessness response systems. Previously, Kinnison was the Director of Family and Community Policy at the HHS Office of the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation, leading initiatives focused on equitable access to social programs for marginalized populations. Kinnison's extensive experience includes roles such as Acting Associate Deputy Assistant Secretary for Human Services Policy at the USDA Food and Nutrition Service and Branch Chief for SNAP Analysis, where analysis of federal nutrition assistance programs was conducted. Kinnison has also contributed to academia as an adjunct faculty member at George Washington University and served as a Social Science Research Analyst at the USDA Food and Nutrition Service. Kinnison earned a PhD in Community Psychology from the University of Illinois Chicago, an MA in Psychology from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and a BA in Psychology from Ohio University.
