Ryan Kushner

Ryan Kushner is an experienced leader in climate technology and sustainable business practices, currently serving as Co-Founder and Head of Philanthropic Partnerships at Third Derivative, an accelerator for climate innovation. Since co-founding Third Derivative in December 2019, Ryan has played a critical role in supporting over 160 climate tech startups that have successfully raised $850 million. In addition to ongoing involvement in various initiatives and mentorship roles at organizations like Big Idea Ventures and Techstars, Ryan also contributes as a faculty member at Singularity University, teaching on energy futurism and climate science. Through the New Energy Network, which Ryan founded, a robust community of nearly 3,000 climate entrepreneurs has emerged. Ryan's educational background includes an MBA in Sustainable Management from Presidio Graduate School and ongoing executive education at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
