Jim Koonts

Jim Koonts has worked in the watch industry since 1993. Jim began their career at Mann's Jewelers as a Patek Philippe Specialist and Watch Buyer/Corporate Sales. In 2005, they moved to BROWN & CO. JEWELERS as Director of Watches and Rolex Specialist. During their time there, they increased the company's watch sales by 17% and grew Jaeger-LeCoultre business sevenfold. In 2010, they became Boutique Director at Jaeger-LeCoultre in Beverly Hills, California. During their time there, they achieved the annual plan and improved the secret shopper experience from 32nd to 1st place in 7 months. In 2014, they moved to Hublot Genève as Boutique Director, where they managed the construction of the new Boutique and implemented a new POS system. Jim also hired and trained all staff members. In 2017, they moved to Breitling USA as Boutique Director. In 2020, they joined Sissy's Log Cabin as a Sales Professional. Currently, they are IWC Boutique Director and Timepiece Manager at King Jewelers.

Jim Koonts obtained a Gemologist degree from the Gemological Institue of America, specializing in diamonds and colored stones.
