Nathan Myers

Nathan Myers has an extensive work history in the legal field, with experience in various roles and organizations. In 2010, they began their career as an Associate Attorney at Foster & Harvey, PC, where they worked until 2011. Nathan then joined Hamilton & Squibb, LLP, where they served as a Senior Associate Attorney/Associate Attorney from 2011 to 2017. In 2017, they transitioned to a role as Senior Counsel, Oil and Gas Group at Kean Miller LLP, which they held until 2018. From 2018 to 2020, Nathan worked as a Senior Associate at Freeman Mills PC before becoming a Partner at Childers, Hewett, Myers & Slagle, PLLC in 2020. In 2021, they established their own legal firm, The Myers Firm, LLC, where they operated as the Owner until 2022. Nathan then co-founded Carter Land & Minerals, LLC in 2022, where they served as Co-Founder and General Counsel until September 2022. Currently, Nathan is the Chief Legal Officer at King Operating Corporation, a role they have held since September 2022.

Nathan Myers received their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Economics and International Business from Baylor University's Hankamer School of Business in the year 2007. Following this, they pursued their legal education at St. Mary's University School of Law, earning a Juris Doctor (JD) degree between 2007 and 2010. In 2010, Nathan obtained their Texas Law License from the Supreme Court of Texas. In 2013, they also obtained a North Dakota Law License from the Supreme Court of North Dakota. Additionally, in 2015, they became Board Certified in Oil, Gas, and Mineral Law from the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
