Juan Torres has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Juan began their career in 2016 in the United States Marine Corps, where they served as a Key Management Infrastructure Clerk, responsible for the safekeeping and management of cryptographic keys. Juan also served as a System/Network Administrator, leading a team and ensuring the maintenance and conservation of server and network equipment. Additionally, they worked as a Radio Operator/Maintainer, where they operated and maintained various radio equipment.

In 2021, Juan joined Cask Government Services as a Radio Frequency Engineer, where they set up and maintained radio equipment for communications testing. Juan later moved to Kingfisher Systems, Inc. and held the role of Information Technology Specialist, where they performed tasks such as imaging computers, troubleshooting hardware and software, and managing accounts.

In their most recent role at Kingfisher Systems, Inc., Juan served as a Cyber Security Specialist. In this position, they conducted vulnerability and compliance scans, created vulnerability reports, and utilized tools such as Tenable.SC and Tanium.

Throughout their career, Juan has gained experience in areas such as cybersecurity, information technology, radio frequency engineering, and network administration. Juan has demonstrated skills in troubleshooting, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the security and integrity of systems and data.

Juan Torres completed their high school education at John C. Fremont High School from 2011 to 2015. After high school, they attended the Marine Corps Communication-Electronics School in 2016, where they completed the Basic Electronics Course.

In terms of higher education, Juan enrolled in Western Governors University in 2022 and is expected to graduate in 2024 with a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications to supplement their education. These certifications include ITIL 4 Foundation from AXELOS Global Best Practice in July 2022, Microsoft Technology Associate: Networking Fundamentals (MTA) from Microsoft in June 2020, CompTIA A+ from CompTIA in February 2023, ACAS Operator and Supervisor Course from DISA in September 2022, CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+) from CompTIA in July 2021, CompTIA Security Analytics Professional – CSAP Stackable Certification from CompTIA in July 2021, and CompTIA Security+ ce Certification from CompTIA in December 2020.
