Charles Maerten

Charles Maerten has extensive experience in IT infrastructure and technical project management, currently serving as a Site Services Delivery Manager within the Group Technology division at Kingfisher plc since June 2017. Key competencies include technical delivery for Modern Workplace IT projects, Windows 10 upgrade rollouts, and OneDrive migration for head office users. Previously, Charles gained expertise in cloud and identity services, managing incident resolution and overseeing a Lille-based team, while also transforming legacy infrastructures to align with One Kingfisher standards. Prior roles include providing technical support at Kingfisher IT Services as a Systems Engineer, engagement in data center establishment and management at NCS, and a research internship focused on wireless communication in New Zealand. Charles holds an engineering degree from CESI Ecole d'Ingénieurs and a DUT in Electrical Engineering from the University of Lille 1.
