Peter Howgego

Peter Howgego has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Peter began their career in the British Army as an Officer Cadet in 2002 and went on to serve as a Captain in the Royal Gurkha Rifles until 2008. During their time in the Army, they also served as an Aide de Camp to the Commander-in-Chief, Land Forces, requiring him to interact with top-level public, commercial, and Royal offices.

In 2009, Peter transitioned to the civilian sector and joined London 2012, where they held several roles including Workforce Operations Manager for the Riverbank Arena, HR Programme Manager, and Resourcing Manager for the selection of volunteers. Peter'sresponsibilities included managing a large number of volunteers, contractors, and a significant budget.

Peter then worked as a Consultant at Capgemini Consulting in 2013 before joining dunnhumby as a Global HR Programme Manager. In this role, they managed global HR programs until 2016.

Since 2016, Peter has been working at Kingfisher plc, initially as an HR Programme Manager and then as the Global HR Operations (Hub) Lead. Peter currently holds the position of Head of People Operations, responsible for overseeing the HR operations within the company.

Peter Howgego attended Culford School from 1994 to 1998, where they studied A Level Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. After completing their secondary education, they enrolled at the University of Southampton from 1999 to 2002. During this time, they pursued a degree in Marine Science and achieved a 2.1 classification.
