Appointed to the King’s Academy Board of Trustees in 2022, Tamam Mango is the CEO of the Crown Prince Foundation which serves 1.8 million youth across Jordan and focuses on the three main pillars of employability and entrepreneurship, leadership, and citizenship, across several major initiatives.
Ms. Mango began her career as a member of the Jordan National Competitiveness Team at the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation. She then moved to the Jordan Agency for Enterprise and Investment Development, part of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and later worked with the Greater Amman Municipality. She also worked as a consultant to clients from the private and public sectors, as well as international donor agencies. She also serves on the board of a number of organizations including the Development and Employment Fund, Technical and Vocational Skills Development Commission, Jordan Institute of Directors, National Center for Innovation - Jordan, Youth Leadership Development Center – Ministry of Youth, and Hussein Bin Abdullah II Technical University.
Ms. Mango holds a Ph.D. in politics from the University of Exeter, a Master’s degree in city planning with a focus on international development and regional planning, and Bachelor’s degrees in urban planning and management science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
