Umes Shrestha

Umes Shrestha is a distinguished educator and writer with extensive experience in innovative pedagogy, teacher development, and educational leadership. Currently serving as the Head of the Center for Innovative Pedagogy and Learning at King's College Nepal since January 2016, Umes focuses on empowering faculty through effective teaching practices. Additional roles include being a Writer at Substack and a Coach at Highr. Umes has held significant positions such as Teacher Developer at Unlearn Academy and Academic Director at Shining Stars Boarding School, alongside editorial roles for NELTA ELT Forum and ELT Choutari. Umes holds a Master of Education from Kathmandu University and a Master of Arts in Mass Communication and Journalism from Kantipur City College.
