Yan Gao

Yan Gao has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Currently, Yan Gao holds the position of Managing Director of South East Asia at Kingsoft Cloud since 2021. Prior to this, Yan Gao worked at Huawei Technologies from 2008 to 2021, where they served as Vice President from 2016 to 2021, Director of Sales, Key Account Department from 2011 to 2016, and Solution Manager, Technical Sales Department from 2008 to 2011. Yan Gao also worked at Ulticom as a Software Engineer in the Signaling and Middleware Solution department from 2007 to 2008. Before that, Yan Gao was a Research Associate at Michigan State University from 2005 to 2006, and a Software Engineer at Motorola from 2004 to 2005. Yan Gao began their career as a Research Engineer at Data Storage Institute from 2002 to 2004, and as a System Engineer at Ericsson from 2001 to 2002.

Yan Gao holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tianjin University. They also have a Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the National University of Singapore and a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from Michigan State University.
