Chris Hand

Professor at Kingston University

Chris Hand is a distinguished academic with extensive experience in the fields of strategy, marketing, and entrepreneurship. Currently a Professor and Associate Professor at Kingston Business School since August 2013, Chris has previously served as a Senior Lecturer in the same institution from 2003 to July 2013, where responsibilities included Course Director for the MSc in Management and Business Studies Research and MSc Health Management Research. Prior research roles include Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Media Arts, Royal Holloway, University of London, and Bournemouth University, both focusing on the AHRB-funded project "Did ITV Revolutionise British Television." Chris Hand holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Portsmouth, along with an MA in Strategic Marketing Management from Kingston University and a MSc in Business Economics from the University of Portsmouth. Additionally, Chris holds a BA in Economics from the University of Portsmouth and is recognized as a Certified Member of The Market Research Society for the period of March 2024 to March 2025.
