David Hile

David Hile has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on drug product development and manufacturing. David is currently the Executive Director of Drug Product Development and Manufacturing at Kiniksa Pharmaceuticals, a position they have held since February 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Director of Drug Product Manufacturing at Kiniksa Pharmaceuticals from February 2021 to February 2023, and as the Director of Drug Product Manufacturing from February 2019 to February 2021.

Before joining Kiniksa Pharmaceuticals, David worked at Shire from 2014 to 2019. David held the role of Director of Drug Product Process Development from April 2018 to February 2019, and the role of Associate Director of Drug Product Development from August 2014 to April 2018.

David also gained experience at Moderna Therapeutics from 2012 to 2014, where they worked in formulation development. Prior to that, they worked at Organogenesis as a Senior Manager in R&D from December 2011 to December 2012, and at Stryker Biotech as an Associate Director of Formulation Development from August 2005 to November 2011.

David'scareer began at Cambridge Scientific, Inc., where they served as Engineering Director from May 2001 to 2005.

David Hile completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology between 1993 and 1997. Following this, they pursued their PhD in Chemical Engineering at Texas A&M University from 1997 to 2000.
