Randy Perrin has over 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Randy currently holds the position of Vice President of Medical Affairs at Kiniksa Pharmaceuticals, where they have been since 2017. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Global Field Medical Affairs at Kiniksa Pharmaceuticals from 2019 to 2022. Before joining Kiniksa Pharmaceuticals, Randy worked at Sarepta Therapeutics as the Senior Director of Medical Science Liaisons from 2016 to 2017. Randy also held the position of Senior Medical Science Liaison at Sarepta Therapeutics from 2015 to 2016. Randy's experience also includes working at Synageva BioPharma Corp. as a Senior Medical Science Liaison from 2014 to 2015. Randy began their career at Merck in 1991 and held various roles, including Health Science Consultant, Health Science Advisor, Specialty Sales Representative, Health Science Associate, and Professional Sales Representative, in different therapeutic areas such as cardiovascular/metabolic, acute coronary syndromes, urology, cardiology, gastroenterology, and hypertension.

Randy Perrin has a strong education background. In 1982, they began their studies at Indiana State University where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Secondary Education and Teaching with a focus on Sports Medicine. Randy completed their undergraduate studies in 1985. Following their bachelor's degree, Randy Perrin continued their academic journey by enrolling at the University of Michigan in 1988. There, they earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science, which they completed in 1990.

Randy Perrin's commitment to education did not stop there. In 2014, they began pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Public Health at Walden University. Over the course of three years, they dedicated their time and effort to their doctoral studies, successfully completing their PhD in 2017.

Aside from their formal education, Randy Perrin also holds an additional certification. In 2009, they obtained the Basic Competency in Clinical Lipidology (BCCL) certification from the National Lipid Association.
