Sara A. Allan

Technical Product Manager at Kinsa

Sara A. Allan has worked in a variety of roles since 2010. Sara began as a Community Volunteer for the YMCA of Greater Toronto in 2010, followed by a Special Event Volunteer for the University of Toronto in 2013. In 2014, they took on the roles of Executive and Event Coordinator for the Middle Eastern Student Association (MESA), Undergraduate Research Assistant for the University of Toronto Faculty of Information (iSchool), and BTM Ambassador for ITAC - Information Technology Association of Canada. In 2015, they were a Research Assistant at the UofT iSchool, conducting interviews with various youth to further understand tactile communication and cognition. In 2016, they worked as a Product Manager, Diversity and Inclusion Committee Member, Client Services Manager, and Client Services Executive for MiQ, as well as a Marketing role at the Xerox Research Centre of Canada at RICC. Sara is currently a Technical Product Manager at Kinsa since 2022.

Sara A. Allan obtained a Honours Bachelor degree in Specialist Digital Enterprise Management (DEM) from the University of Toronto between 2012 and 2016. Sara also obtained a Certificate in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia from Sheridan College between 2014 and 2016. In addition, they obtained a Product Management certification from BrainStation in September 2019 and a Designing and Implementing Big Data Analytics Solutions certification from BrainStation in June 2019. Sara also holds a Pan Am/ParaPan Am Games Excellence Certificate from the Office of the Premier of Ontario.
