Jacques SESTIER has a diverse work experience in the engineering and construction industry. Jacques started their career as a Site Engineer at Bouygues in 2008, where they supervised civil works for tunnel construction. Jacques then worked as a Tendering Engineer and Site Engineer at Bouygues Construction, focusing on infrastructure projects. In 2011, they briefly worked as a Project Manager at Soletanche Bachy before joining VSL Australia as a Project Engineer, where they managed projects in Australia and Hong Kong. In 2013, they joined KIO Networks as a Consultant and Product Manager in North and Latin America, responsible for designing and pricing data centers. Jacques also served as a Project Manager for the construction of data centers in Mexico. In 2016, they worked as a Civil Works Manager at BOUYGUES UK, overseeing the civil works packages for the Hounslow Civic Centre project. Presently, at KIO Networks, they hold the position of Engineering and Deployment Director and previously served as the Procurement and PMO Manager, responsible for project management office and supply chain processes for data center implementation projects.
Jacques SESTIER completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from IPADE Business School in 2020. Jacques also attended Harvard University in 2018 for a Negotiation Workshop. In terms of their undergraduate education, Jacques received a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Civil Engineering from Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 in 2005. Prior to that, they obtained their Masters degree in Civil Engineering from INSA Strasbourg in 2008. Additionally, Jacques has obtained several certifications including ATD from Uptime Institute in 2020, Data Center Power Usage Efficiency from DatacenterDynamics in 2018, and Data Centre Design Awareness (DCDA) from DatacenterDynamics in 2013.
