Jacques Sestier has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Jacques started their career as a Site Engineer at Bouygues in 2008, where they supervised civil works for tunnels. From 2010 to 2011, Jacques worked as a Tendering Engineer and Site Engineer at Bouygues Construction, handling infrastructure projects. Jacques then moved to Soletanche Bachy as a Project Manager before joining VSL Australia as a Project Engineer, where they oversaw construction projects in Australia and Hong Kong. Jacques then joined KIO Networks in 2013, working as a Consultant and Product Manager for North and Latin America, and later as a Project Manager for Data Center construction in Mexico. In 2016, they joined Bouygues UK as a Civil Works Manager, responsible for civil works in a civic center scheme. Jacques then returned to KIO Networks in 2017, where they served as the Procurement and PMO Manager, overseeing implementation projects and supply chain processes. Ultimately, Jacques became the Engineering and Deployment Director at KIO Networks in August 2020.
Jacques Sestier has a strong education background, starting with their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Civil Engineering from Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 in 2005-2008. Jacques then pursued their Masters in Civil Engineering from INSA Strasbourg from 2005-2008 as well. In 2018, Jacques completed a Negotiation Workshop in Strategies, Tools, and Skills for Success from Harvard University. The same year, they also obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from IPADE Business School. Additionally, Jacques has obtained certifications in Data Center Power Usage Efficiency and Data Centre Design Awareness (DCDA) from DatacenterDynamics in 2018 and 2013 respectively. In 2020, Jacques obtained certification from Uptime Institute, being recognized with the ATD credential.
