Dirk Scharr

Dirk Scharr has extensive work experience in the field of testing and validation. Dirk started their career as a Design Engineer at RMS Dynamic Test Systems from June 1996 to December 1997. Dirk then joined STILL GmbH, where they held the roles of Test Engineer from January 1998 to December 2003, Testing Manager from January 2004 to May 2008, and Head of Testing from June 2008 to December 2015. Currently, Dirk holds the position of VP Product Validation & Testing at KION Group, starting from January 2016.

Dirk Scharr completed their education with a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Maschinenbau from Hamburg University of Applied Sciences from 1990 to 1996. Dirk also participated in the KION Executive Development Program at ESMT Berlin from 2014 to 2015, and later furthered their executive education at INSEAD, completing the KION Global Executive Program from 2018 to 2019.
