Callie Hudak

Callie Hudak is the Managing Director of Development at KIPP Metro Atlanta. Callie has held this position since August 2016. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Marketing & Communications at KIPP San Antonio from August 2013 to August 2016.

As the Director of Marketing & Communications at KIPP San Antonio, Callie was responsible for all marketing and communications strategy and execution for the organization, including marketing collateral, brand consistency and awareness, website design and maintenance, media relations, crisis communications, internal and external newsletters, and social media. Callie also advised C-level leadership on internal and external communication strategies on a range of issues including the organization’s strategic growth plan, annual plan rollout, fundraising campaigns, and crisis communications.

Under Callie’s leadership, the organization’s marketing and communications efforts flourished. Callie oversaw the complete design and development of a new bilingual website – www.kippsa.org – which launched to great success. Callie also launched the organization’s first cohesive advertising campaign to drive student recruitment and increase brand awareness, including radio, print, out-of-home, and direct mail. The campaign was highly successful, resulting in a significant increase in student applications.

In addition to their work in marketing and communications, Callie was also responsible for managing the organization’s Student Recruitment team. Callie was selected by the CEO to lead the change management of a strategic shift from centralized to decentralized recruiting model

Callie Hudak has a MBA in Marketing from the Texas McCombs School of Business and an AB in Psychology & Religion from The University of Georgia.

They are on a team with Irving Williams - Managing Director of KIPP Forward, Clayborn Knight - Head of Middle Schools, and Lakeesha Ramdhanie - Chief Schools Officer. Their manager is Mini’imah Shaheed, CEO.
