Patricia Pryor, M.ED, currently serves as Assistant Principal at KIPP Nashville Public Schools, a position held since July 2019, where responsibilities have included roles as Instructional Coach, Founding Dean of Culture, and Founding ELA Teacher. Prior experience includes serving as a Tennessee Educators of Color Fellow with the Tennessee Educators of Color Alliance from May 2021 to May 2022, focusing on educational policy and legislative work, as well as attending school board meetings and collaborating on local initiatives. Previous teaching experience spans from September 2014 to August 2019 as an ELA Teacher and 7th Grade Teacher in Rutherford County Schools. Earlier, from September 2013 to August 2014, Patricia worked as a Toddler Teacher at KinderCare Education at Work, emphasizing the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children. Patricia holds a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Middle Tennessee State University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from Ohio University.
