Berta Reid

Berta Reid is an experienced educator currently serving as a High School Spanish Teacher at KIPP NYC since July 2023. Reid has held various leadership and teaching roles, including High School Director for Team Student Experience and Spanish Teacher at Achievement First from July 2019 to July 2023. Prior experience includes Dean of Students at KIPP NYC College Prep, Assistant Principal at KIPP AMP Middle School, Spanish/Religion Teacher at Lourdes Academy, and Spanish Teacher at Bishop Ford Central Catholic High School. Reid earned a Master's degree in Education from Walden University and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature from Fordham University.
