Aja Moore-Ramos

Aja joined KIPP Philadelphia in February 2022 and serves as the Donor Communications Manager. Her role includes shaping KPPS’ donor narrative and highlighting opportunities for impact to a growing donor audience. Prior to KIPP Philadelphia, Aja worked in the college access space and as a K-8 educator. Most recently she served as the Director of Communications at College Track, a national college completion program. She also spent four years with KIPP Northern California as an Education Specialist and Assistant Principal. Aja is a New Jersey native, who has also resided in California, Massachusetts, and New York. She holds a Master of Science degree in Education from Hunter College and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Writing from Emerson College. Aja is a proud mother of three, who enjoys creative writing and trying new restaurants in her free time.
