Khamarr Smith

Khamarr Smith's work experience includes various roles in education and youth development. Khamarr is currently working at KIPP SoCal Public Schools as the Founding Business Operations Manager. Prior to this, they were an Assistant Dean Of Students at St. Thomas More High School from June 2021 to January 2023. Khamarr also served as the Athletic Director at Capital Preparatory Harbor School from August 2018 to January 2023, and at Capital Prep Harlem School from July 2019 to November 2020. Before that, they held multiple roles at CAPITAL PREP HARBOR SCHOOL INC, including Head Football Coach, Co-Athletic Director, and Illuminator, from November 2016 to November 2020. Other experiences include working in community engagement at Capital Preparatory Schools Inc. from January 2015 to July 2019, and as an Illuminator at Capital Preparatory Harbor School from August 2015 to July 2017. Khamarr also has experience as an Intern at Maynard Jackson Youth Foundation in 2014, a Referee at Youth Player League in 2013, and a Peer Leader in the Coca Cola Pre-College Leadership Program in 2013.

Khamarr Smith attended Capital Preparatory Magnet School from 2005 to 2011. After completing high school, they pursued General Studies at Capital Community College from 2009 to 2011. Following this, Khamarr Smith earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Sociology from Morehouse College, where they studied from 2011 to 2014. Recently, they completed a Master's degree in Sports Management at Columbia University, attending from 2020 to 2022.
