Brent Mobbs

Brent Mobbs is an IP Litigation Associate at Kirkland & Ellis, where Brent has been employed since September 2023, after serving as a Summer Associate with the firm in mid-2022. Previous experience includes roles as a Student Attorney in the Cyberlaw Clinic at the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University from February to December 2021, and as a Research Intern at the Yale Center for Environmental Law & Policy during summer 2021. Additionally, Brent worked as a Digital Scholar for JURIST in 2020, and held multiple research assistant positions at The University of Texas at Austin focusing on materials and retrogression forming as well as engine control systems from 2018 to 2020. Brent’s internship at Goodman Manufacturing in summer 2019 provided experience in production engineering. Brent holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Sustainable Energy Systems from The University of Texas at Austin.
