Meri Verli

Meri Verli is the Senior Vice President of Business Operation Management Systems at Kirkland Lake Gold Ltd. Meri has over 20 years of experience in accounting and finance, including roles as a Senior Audit Manager at KPMG and Chief Financial Officer at PPX Mining Corp. Most recently, they served as the Vice President of Finance at Tahoe Resources. In this role, they were responsible for all aspects of finance, including financial planning and analysis, treasury, taxation, and risk management. Ms. Verli is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto.

The educational career for Meri Verli includes a Bachelor of Geology and Engineering from the University of Tirana, Albania, a Master’s Degree in Evaluation of Mining Resources from CESEV-Ecole Nationale Superiuere de Geology in Nancy, France, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Economic Sciences from the University of Tirana, Albania. Meri Verli is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds the CA designation.

They work with Natasha Vaz - Chief Operating Officer, David Soares - Chief Financial Officer, and Russell Evans - Director, Backfill. Meri Verli reports to Anthony Makuch, President & Chief Executive Officer.
