Kristina Bean

Kristina Bean, SPHR, has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Kristina started their career in 1993 as a Litigation Paralegal at Keith Barton & Associates, PC, where they coordinated multi-million dollar lawsuits and assisted attorneys with litigation strategies. In 1998, they transitioned to the role of Office Administrator/HR Director at the same company, where they implemented HR programs and policies, supervised a team of professionals, resolved employer challenges, and ensured compliance with laws and regulations.

In 2011, Kristina joined the State of Utah as an Analyst II - Grants/Contracts, where they reviewed and analyzed contracts, grants, and legal documents. Kristina also served as a Bureau Manager in the Department of Commerce, Division of Occupational & Professional Licensing, overseeing the licensing process.

Since 2015, Kristina has been working at Kirton McConkie as the Human Resources Director. Kristina has been responsible for recruitment efforts, employee relations counseling, benefits administration, compliance with employment laws, and supervising support staff.

Throughout their career, Kristina has demonstrated their expertise in HR management, employee relations, compliance, and litigation support.

Kristina Bean, SPHR, has a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General, which they obtained from Utah Valley University in 2010. In 2013, they furthered their education by earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Western Governors University. Prior to this, in 1993, they completed an Associate of Applied Science degree in Paralegal studies at Utah Valley University. In terms of certifications, they obtained the Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR®) Certification from HRCI in 2012 and 2021. Kristina also has an SPHR certification obtained in 2011, although the institution is not specified.
