Shan De Leon

Shan De Leon has worked in a variety of roles since 2016. In that year, they began working as a Recreation Leader for the City Of American Canyon. In 2019, they began working as a Student Laboratory Assistant for the UC Davis Department of Plant Sciences, an Administrative Intern and Internal Committee Lead for the UC Davis Student Recruitment and Retention Center, and a Computer Room Consultant for the UC Davis Information & Educational Technology. In 2020, they added roles as an External Vice President, Project Lead, and Student Researcher for the BioInnovation Group at UC Davis, and a Student Intern for the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) Agricultural Research Service (ARS). In 2021, they began working as a Clinical Laboratory Intern for Freenome, and in 2022 they began working as a Clinical Lab Associate for Kit.com.

Shan De Leon has a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from the University of California, Davis, as well as a Minor in Sustainability in the Built Environment from the same university. Shan also holds a High School Diploma from American Canyon High School, which they earned from 2014 to 2018.
