Jens Abrahamsson

Jens Abrahamsson has extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Jens is currently working at KITS AB as an Agile Consultant & Consultant Manager since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Agile Consultant at KITS AB from July 2021 to October 2022.

Before joining KITS AB, Jens held the position of Ordförande för Beredningen för kultur, fritid och folkhälsa (KD) at Lerums kommun from January 2019 to October 2022. In this role, they were responsible for long-term goals, strategies, and monitoring on behalf of the municipality. Their work involved understanding the needs and desires of the citizens in relation to the municipality's activities.

From 2014 to 2021, Jens worked at Telia as a Scrum Master. Jens played a crucial role in facilitating the Scrum process and ensuring successful project delivery. Prior to Telia, Jens worked at Acorn Technology AB as a Software Engineer from August 2012 to April 2014. Jens was involved in the development of Telia IPTV middleware and also worked as a Scrum Master for one of the development teams.

Jens' earlier experiences include working as a Software Engineer at Docuscan AB from January 2004 to September 2012, at Epsilon.nu from August 2010 to August 2012, and at Icomera AB from June 2004 to July 2010. Jens also worked as a Software Engineer at Intelli from January 2003 to November 2003 and at eHem AB from October 1999 to November 2002.

Jens started their career at Hogia Godstrafik AB as a Programmer from November 1998 to October 1999. Overall, Jens has had a diverse range of experiences in roles related to software engineering, project management, and consulting.

Jens Abrahamsson earned their MSc degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology, graduating in 2001.

In terms of additional certifications, they became a Certified Scrum Professional® - ScrumMaster in March 2019 through the Scrum Alliance. Jens also obtained the certification of Certified LeSS Practitioner from The LeSS Company in June 2016. Prior to that, they became a Certified ScrumMaster in January 2015, also through the Scrum Alliance. In February 2011, they received the Oracle Certified Professional Java SE Programmer certification. Additionally, they hold the certification of A-CSM (Advanced Certified ScrumMaster) from the Scrum Alliance.
